Full Onboarding Flow
Knomi runs remote onboarding from start to finish through complementary steps:
- Document capture & OCR: The identity card or passport is captured and its fields are automatically extracted with OCR.
- NFC chip reading: The document's NFC chip is read to verify the authenticity and integrity of its data.
- Selfie / face capture: A live selfie is taken from the user.
- Passive liveness check: Liveness is confirmed in the background with passive liveness, without asking the user for any extra action.
- Face match: The document photo is compared with the live selfie to confirm that the person is the one in the document.
