Aware's Knomi biometric product family brings together face biometrics, passive liveness detection and face match capabilities. Passive liveness technology detects spoofing attempts such as photos, videos, masks and deepfakes in the background, without requiring any extra action from the user. Face match supports 1:1 verification for login and transaction approval, as well as 1:N search for duplicate-enrollment detection and identity identification.

Combined with OCR/MRZ reading of identity and passport documents and NFC chip verification on the document side, Aware technologies enable BRSA-compliant remote customer onboarding (e-KYC). As a result, your customers can open an account securely within minutes without visiting a branch.
